I have a V659 and RX-Receiver is a great! I use it for movies, 2-channel and 5.1-channel music and sounds good for everything. I am cable of 7.1 and zone 2, only one output line preamp with a Denon receiver that I my computer is connected to the upper floor. D'B speakers connected to my sample.
An amplifier is easy to use, it has a ball when you need it, and repeat the exception of HDMI that is not really gone. The new models like the 661 and until these "scene" buttons on the front, as a button on a remote activity Harmony acts, but no one really cares whether or not.
The 659 is the ideal amplifier for the money is .... not much else in this area, Burr Brown DAC's inside.
If you try the amp to a couple of films like Star Wars: Episode I hear the battle space host. Also, try some 5.1 DTS music CDs .... They sound incredible ears!
Keep one in your head .... Now there is almost nothing in 7.1, but the more youTLE HDDVD and others come from Sony. 7.1 Receiver artificially created on 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. channels of a 5.1-source.
If you are looking for something, accept it and play the 7,1, make sure that an 8-channel analog input on the back of the receiver. Otherwise, it is not well with the new audio formats can be overcome if they en masse.
nobody
I have a Sony STR-DG1000 on eBay for $ 499.00 and is 7.1 A / B switching with HDMI. It's freaking awesome.
If you have a smaller space and efficient speakers (> 92dB) - the most decent of them in a position to work. If you have a larger room and / or inefficient speakers speakers - none.
It also depends on the strength that will be happy to hear.
The Onkyo TX-SR605 ($ 499.99 at Crutchfield) is 7.1 surround and is one of the first AV receivers to offer HDMI 1.3 and Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoders. It is ideal if you want to be ready for Blu-ray or HD DVD. Very nice AV receiver.
This is priceless!
Actually, yes. An example: JVC RXD206B
Well, there are too many factors to consider to answer your question properly, for example-ohm speakers (front / rear / center / sub) This will have a strong influence the ability of a recipient's accurate power without distortion or amplifier overheating. The JVC model list is a basic model, but they are in Class A and Class-D amplifiers, which are ideally preserved for users in general. In home theater, usually get what you pay, but JVC has powerful units at reasonable prices.
